About the Exhibition
Grace Glueck from The New York Times described Visionary by Tom Otterness (b. 1952, Wichita, KS) as “a mock lamppost topped by a group of small figures raising a globe, in turn surmounted by a buxom woman who has removed her head and holds it in her hands. A nice poke at the banality of most public monuments, it’s the kind of thing MetroTech needs more of.”
