George Moore Sunset Park

Sunset Park
December 16 - December 16, 1981

About the Exhibition

Sunset Park, which takes its name from the neighborhood surrounding the hospital, was conceived in collaboration with the hospital staff to help reduce patient trauma. George Moore’s 32-foot mural consists of abstract forms painted in soothing colors of blue, pink, and yellow. It decorates a corridor where recently admitted emergency cases await medical treatment.
