About the Exhibition

Formed of brightly colored strips of hand-dyed canvas, Sandro Martini’s (b.1941, Livorno, Italy) sculpture hangs from the back of the New York Public Library in Bryant Park in a multi-tiered arrangement of colors and planes. The arrangement of the canvas is changed daily during the installation.
