About the Exhibition
Formed of brightly colored strips of hand-dyed canvas, Sandro Martini’s (1941–2022, b. Livorno, Italy) sculpture hangs from the back of the New York Public Library in Bryant Park in a multitiered arrangement of colors and planes. The layout of the canvas is changed daily during the installation.
