Opening Celebration: Between Tides Beach Party

Saturday, June 27
5:30-7:30pm
Rockaway Beach 67
BetweenTides OpeningCelebration

Join pro ping-pong players, exhibition artists, and a live band for a free public celebration of Between Tides, our newest exhibition featuring sculptural ping-pong tables on Rockaway Beach.

The drop-in beach party will feature matches happening across all six ping-pong installations, opening remarks, light complimentary refreshments, and a chance to explore the exhibition for the first time. Ping-pong paddles and balls will be available to borrow for free! Visitors are encouraged to experience these works in both traditional and unexpected ways, expanding the boundaries of play, participation, and fun.

Can’t make the opening? Join us for a free ping-pong tournament on August 22!

Transportation

The opening celebration is located at Beach 67 on Rockaway Beach. For transportation to Beach 67, the closest subway station is the A at Beach 67.
