Tau Lewis (b. 1993, Toronto Canada) lives and works in New York City, NY. She has exhibited in museums and institutions, including National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; MoMA PS1, New York; New Museum, New York, NY; Hepworth Wakefield, Wakefield, England; College Art Galleries, Saskatoon, Canada; Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Kingston, Canada; Art Gallery of Mississauga, Canada; and the Art Gallery of York University, Toronto. Lewis’ work has been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Library Collection, New York; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa; Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; Grinnell College Museum of Art, IA; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; and Prospect 5, New Orleans. She will present a forthcoming solo exhibition at Haus der Kunst, Munich.
