Entrances
There are four entrances to the Train Hall. Two are located on 8th Avenue at the corners with 31st and 33rd Streets. The other two are located midway between 8th and 9th Avenues on 31st and 33rd Streets.
Public Art Fund developed a program of ambitious art installations for three prominent sites within the Train Hall. In keeping with the redesigned building’s architectural integration of old and new, artists created large-scale, site-specific artworks that reflect broadly on notions of past, present, and future.
Access to Artwork: Most artwork is accessible anytime the Train Hall is open. Stan Douglas’ installation is in the Ticketed Waiting Room—only ticket-holders are permitted entry.
