Martin Silverman: A Night Out

In Martin Silverman’s bronze sculpture, A Night Out, depictions of a man and a woman stand some 3.5’ in height and are mounted on a pedestal. Silverman (b.1950, New York City, NY) commented, “I find it is natural for me to work figuratively because my work explores human relationships. A Night Out shows the connection between a man and a woman—on a date—talking—dancing—embracing. I added red and blue patinas to this work because colors add an attractive and unusual edge to works in bronze.”
