Spring Benefit

The annual Spring Benefit is Public Art Fund’s largest event of the year, where patrons, partners, artists, and friends come together to celebrate our work – and to raise vital funds to support exhibitions that enliven New York City’s five boroughs all year long!

At our 2019 event, held on April 11, we toasted the extraordinary artists who transformed our urban landscape in the previous year – Siah Armajani, Tauba Auerbach, Anselm Kiefer, Mark Manders, Tony Oursler, Erwin Wurm, and B. Wurtz – and brought the dynamism of our outdoor exhibitions inside for one night only through our signature interactive artist projects, created this year by Jeppe Hein, Zak Kitnick, Shantell Martin.

The event raised more than $1.3 million, and for this success we offer thanks to our Benefit Co-Chairs Sarah Arison & Thomas Wilhelm, Andrea Krantz & Harvey Sawikin, Jill & Peter Kraus, Jennifer & Jason New, Elizabeth & Richard Pepperman, and Patty & Howard Silverstein, as well as to our wonderful After Party Co-Chairs!
